Ana Mar Fernández Pasarín
Ana Mar Fernández Pasarín is an Associate Professor in Politics and Public Administration at the UAB and an Associate Researcher at Sciences Po Paris (Observatory of European Institutions, www.cee.sciences-po.fr). Since February 2009, she is also vice-dean for economic affairs (Faculty of Political Science and Sociology, UAB). She has given postgraduate courses on European studies, Comparative Politics, Public Policies Analysis and Consular Diplomacy at the University of Bologna, the ITAM (México), the IBEI (Barcelona), the IUOG, the INAP, the CEPC (Madrid) and the Diplomatic School of Armenia. She has been research fellow at Sciences Po Paris, Mannheim Universität, the Université Catholique de Louvain, the Centre for European Policy Studies and the Université Libre de Bruxelles. She is member of the panel of experts on ‘European Governance’ at the Ecole Nationale d’Administration and member of the scientific team of the Observatory of European Institutions (OIE) of Sciences Po Paris. Main research areas: Her main research areas are European institutional dynamics, with specific reference to the EU presidential system and comitology procedures She is currently coordinating the EUCOM Project ‘Democratisation of the European Union and regulatory decisionmaking: a quantitative analysis of comitology’ (UAB/Sciences Po Paris) funded by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (2014-2016.
